AC Cars’ revived legacy plants American roots.
The AC Cobra is one of the world’s most iconic sports cars and favorite classic cars. With an instantly recognizable silhouette and a legacy as a canvas for a performance pedigree, the AC Cobra is currently being revived in the form of the new AC Cobra GT Roadster, as well as the racing-inspired AC Cobra GT Coupe. The new reimaginations of the Cobra take the classic, charming silhouette of the original, and modernize it with a carbon fiber body, a 5.0-liter engine with the potential to equip a supercharger, and cutting-edge luxury and craftsmanship.
Now, the AC Cars of today is bringing the historic British marque to the United States by officially launching AC Cars America, LLC. Headquartered in West Palm Beach, Florida, the new dedicated company is set to bring AC’s new reimaginations of its classic sports car legends to the States.
The launch of the new company was held at EyesOn Design, a prestigious automotive event in its 38th year, held at a poignant location, the home of Edsel and Eleanor Ford, this past Sunday on June 15th. Originally established in 1901, the AC Cars of today is not only reviving the historic British manufacturer with robust new sports car models that combine historic legacy and charm with modern performance, but it’s also bringing that revival to the United States, whose automotive industry played a major role in building the cherished legacy of AC Cars.
